Donte McGill (ex Al Wahda) is a newcomer at Al Nassr

Donte McGill

Al Nassr Riyadh (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American guard Donte McGill (190cm-84kg-1995, college: FIU) for season 2024-25. He was the top scorer at Al Wahda in Syrian SBL league. In only one West Asia Super League game he recorded very impressive stats: 31 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. He also played for Al Wehda Mecca earlier that season.
In 2017 he was drafted by Lakeland Magic (G-League) in fourth round (81st overall).
The former Florida International University star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
McGill is quite experienced player. Thanks to McGill's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Kazakhstan (Barsy Atyrau), Poland (Stal), Qatar (Al Wakrah) and NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats). McGill won Syrian League championship title in 2024.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. McGill played for other colleges like: Vincennes University, Goldey-Beacom College.
